iTalk Inc. Names Technology and Marketing Expert Robert Thorell as New President

FT. LAUDERDALE, FL--(Marketwired - Oct 22, 2013) - iTalk Inc. (OTCQB: TALK) (OTCBB: TALK) ("iTalk" or the "Company"), a global provider of advanced communications and mobile broadband services, is pleased to announce that the Company has appointed Mr. Robert Thorell as its new President.

Prior to joining iTalk, Inc. as President, Mr. Thorell served as Chief Information Officer at since its inception, revolutionizing the way real-time consumer financial loan closings are processed. Utilizing strong leadership combined with aggressive digital marketing campaigns, Robert grew the business by nearly 3,900%, making it the only mobile loan lender of its kind.

Robert also served as Vice President of Network Operations for, where he was responsible for the design and optimization of the Voiceglo VoIP Network. Before that Robert held executive positions at several Voice-over-IP carriers including COO at Global Net and CTO of Next Communication.

Robert attended Florida Atlantic University in a Computer Science and Education double major program prior to obtaining Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) designations.
