Itiva Technology Sets Stage for RipTicket's Launch

Itiva's CDN to Act as Platform for Indie Film Distributor

PALO ALTO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 8, 2007 -- Itiva Digital Media, the video Content Delivery Network for high quality content, has partnered with Vancouver, British Columbia-based RipTicket to deliver independent films in high definition via the Internet. RipTicket intends to organize independent movies and deliver them to viewers who would otherwise never see them.

"RipTicket opens a whole new world of opportunities for independent film makers," said Michel Billard, CEO of Itiva. "We're thrilled to provide the platform that allows for the launch of this major endeavor, and look forward to great things coming for the site and its content owners."

Itiva's video Content Delivery Network supports both streaming and downloading of music, video, film and games. The company expects to offer a live broadcast network in first quarter 2007, and has recently announced that it's in the final stages of development for Vista and Macintosh platforms.

"RipTicket could not exist without a technology as sophisticated and cost effective as Itiva's," said Terri O'Neill, RipTicket founder and CEO. "We looked at numerous delivery platforms, but only Itiva allowed for high definition at a price that provided the ROI we need to succeed. Together, RipTicket and Itiva have great potential to change the landscape of independent film delivery over the Internet."

RipTicket was established to help consumers discover videos from independent film makers. RipTicket allows users to stream, download or burn high definition, surround sound, feature-length films from the world's premiere independent cinema library. The company intends to begin its pilot program in the spring of 2007, and offering its public service in autumn.
