It's Back: What the Truck?! Returns to Downtown Edmonton

Lots to tempt tastebuds: from waffles to spring rolls to sandwiches

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Sept. 13, 2011) - It's back! After a successful first event in June, the city's food truck extravaganza is back in downtown Edmonton.

Edmontonians are invited to experience food trucks and downtown vibrancy at the second What the Truck?! event, taking place Friday, September 16, 4 to 8 pm at Abbey Lane Park on 102 Street and Jasper Avenue.

Nine food trucks will serve up a variety of tasty street food, with everything from hot dogs and pizza to Liège waffles, spring rolls, and more.

Come for familiar favourites like Fat Franks and The Funky Pickle, and try Edmonton's three newest food trucks. Drift offers creative sandwich combinations, Nomad offers flavourful barbeque features, and Molly's Eats offers food from around the world.
