It's a Barbie® World Now Available On Demand; Mattel Selects Avail-TVN to Distribute Barbie® Doll's Popular Movies On Demand

Barbie™ Entertainment Scheduled for April VOD Launch

SHERMAN OAKS, CA--(Marketwire - Apr 21, 2011) - Avail-TVN, the leading digital media services company in North America, today announced a VOD licensing and distribution deal with Mattel for the popular Barbie™ entertainment series. Under the agreement, Barbie™ entertainment will be available in both English and Spanish beginning April 23, 2011.

"Barbie is an entertainment powerhouse -- over the last 10 years we have released 20 direct to DVD titles which are watched an average of 10 times each. Our films include unique story lines with positive messages and original music that keeps girls entertained and engaged time and again," said Lisa McKnight, Vice President Marketing, Barbie. Barbie™ entertainment on demand will launch with "Barbie™ of Swan Lake" and "Barbie™ Fairytopia" with two new movies added every month through the end of the year. Additional Barbie™ titles scheduled for VOD release include "Barbie™ as Rapunzel" and "Barbie™ as The Princess and the Pauper," both of which will also be included in Avail-TVN's affiliate programming stunt, "Animated Friends" scheduled for May 2011.
