It's Blueberry Weizenbier Season at Waterloo Brewing Company

KITCHENER, ON--(Marketwired - June 16, 2016) - Brick Brewing Co. Limited ("Brick" or the "Company") (TSX: BRB), Ontario's largest Canadian-owned brewery, today announced the arrival of their NEW Waterloo Blueberry Weizenbier at select Beer Store locations across Ontario, just in time for summer. This new small-batch seasonal brew is crafted with the refreshing character of a traditional Weizenbier while bursting with flavour from Nova Scotia, the blueberry capital of Canada to add a distinctively Canadian twist to this German classic.

"Fruit flavours naturally lend themselves to wheat beers as a perfect base and provide ideal qualities such as head retention and a smooth, full mouthfeel," said Bill Henry, Director of Brewing, Quality and Logistics at Brick Brewing. "Our Weizenbier has a subtle natural citrus finish that is perfectly complemented by the juicy full flavour and sweetness of blueberries," added Henry.

"If you're looking for a light tasting, refreshing craft beer to accompany the salads, grilled vegetables and slow-cooked, pulled pork dishes of summer, we made this just for you," said Sean Dennis, Director of Marketing. "It's great on its own, and really great with just about anything that comes off the BBQ."

Waterloo Blueberry Weizenbier is 5% alc./vol. and available for $2.75 at The Beer Store.
