A number of sculptures related to Canadiana, created for the park by Douglas Coupland, are placed throughout.

Mayor David Miller, along with Councillor Adam Vaughan, Darrell Fox, Terry's Fox's brother, and Concord CEO Terry Hui will be attending the opening ceremony. Each will speak about the significance of the Park to the Fox Family and Canadians.
