ITSMA Appoints New Managing Director for Europe

LONDON--(Marketwire - May 15, 2008) - ITSMA, the leading marketing association for technology, professional services and telecoms companies, has appointed Richard Seymour as Senior Vice President, ITSMA, and Managing Director, ITSMA Europe. Responsible for driving the European business forward and delivering a valued proposition to our member community, Seymour will develop and lead ITSMA's programme of thought leadership, research, education, consultancy and community events, designed to keep members at the forefront of marketing practice.

Seymour is well positioned to take the helm of ITSMA's European operations, having held a variety of key positions ranging from Sales and Marketing Manager through President and CEO within technology companies in the UK, France and US, and running EMEA operations for a number of software, systems and services organizations. With a proven track record of translating technology initiatives into commercial solutions, he has over thirty years of corporate and consulting experience working for a number of high profile organizations such as BT, AT&T, GN Comtext and The Odetics Group. Most recently Richard has provided senior level management consulting to a large base of customers across the UK and Ireland, widely recognized for providing some of the most comprehensive and effective "go-to-market" strategy guidance in the market. Seymour is fluent in French, having lived in France whilst running 3 companies in the high-tech sector.
