Ivany Mining Meets Zama Lake Phase 1 Work Commitment

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - May 15, 2008) - Ivany Mining Inc. (OTCBB:IVNM)(FRANKFURT:IMZ) ("Ivany") is pleased to report that it has met its Phase 1 Zama Lake property work commitment with Star Uranium Corp. (TSX VENTURE:SUV). Ivany has spent over $530,000 on exploration on the Zama Lake project. Ivany will earn a 100-per-cent interest by spending $400,000 on the property by May 16th 2008 and a further $1 million by May 16th 2010.

Ivany has exceeded the $400,000 dollar phase 1 work commitment and continues to explore the property with plans for drilling in the Fall of 2008. The company is also pleased to announce that it has completed its HeliGEOTEM® airborne geophysical survey on its Zama Lake project in Northern Alberta.
