IWG Announces New Product Development Initiatives at AGM

BURNABY, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - March 13, 2008) - International Water-Guard Industries Inc. (TSX VENTURE:IWG), the world leader in aircraft water treatment, announced several important new initiatives at its Annual General Meeting late on Wednesday March 12.

"IWG has demonstrated successful and profitable performance on its base business for the last three years," said David Fox, president and CEO. "Now is the time to move the company to the next level, in terms of products and size."

New product introduction is being accelerated. IWG is developing a series of products that compliment its highly successful lines of Aircraft Water Treatment units.

"We have been in this business for years, and now with increasing acceptance of our water systems, as well as units, we saw the need to develop our own electronic control modules to drive the many diverse components such as pumps, valves and heaters that make up a complete water system," said Fox. "This provides greater opportunity to expand our systems to other aircraft types."

The development of proprietary device controllers for water system components are well underway, and demonstrate the high level of product and electronics design capability that is now resident at IWG. "Distributed device control is the way of the future. IWG will be able to provide both system components and controllers to meet the most demanding production line or custom needs of our clients. We are also engaged in development of other product and system offerings for the aerospace industry."

International Water-Guard is a Canadian aerospace company focusing on aircraft potable water treatment and full water system solutions. With expertise in all aspects of water treatment, IWG has the products and knowledge to provide high quality water for passengers and crew, as well as lightweight, space saving solutions for the aircraft operator.
