Jablonka Named Controller at Pathfinder Bank

OSWEGO, NY--(Marketwire - Jul 7, 2011) - Richard M. Jablonka has been named Controller at Pathfinder Bank (NASDAQ: PBHC), according to James A. Dowd, Senior Vice President and CFO.

Jablonka will oversee the internal, external and regulatory financial reporting of Pathfinder Bank and its subsidiaries, as well as assure the completeness and accuracy of the financial information produced by the Accounting Department. He will also maintain control over the balancing and integrity of the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers, while overseeing the Accounting Department staff and their functions, and facilitate and coordinate the preparation of the annual financial plan of Pathfinder Bank and its subsidiaries.

Jablonka was most recently Vice President and Controller at Wilber National Bank in Oneonta, New York. He has also worked previously as Vice President of Finance and Administration and Business Operations at Fiserv Solutions, Inc. in Syracuse, and held various roles over the years at Chase Manhattan Bank in Syracuse and Rochester.

Jablonka holds an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Finance and Operations Analysis, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Math and Science from St. Bonaventure University. Jablonka resides in Baldwinsville, New York, and is a member of Financial Executives International.
