Jackson Labs Technologies, Inc. Delivers Miniature Low-Cost GPS-Disciplined 10MHz Desktop Frequency Reference Kit

The LC-XO-Plus Is a complete plug-and-play miniature GPSDO Timing and Frequency Desktop Reference Kit with Accessories

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwired - Apr 7, 2014) - Jackson Labs Technologies, Inc, a designer and manufacturer of cutting-edge gps, timing and frequency equipment, today announced the availability of its low-cost LC-XO-Plus Miniature Desktop Frequency and Timing Reference.

The LC-XO-Plus is a low-cost 10MHz GPS-Disciplined Oscillator (GPSDO) kit in a small USB-powered box with only 2.2 x 3.3 x 1.2 inches size. The LC-XO-PLUS GPSDO Kit is a complete solution for providing extremely accurate 10MHz, 1PPS, and Position-Velocity-Time information anywhere in the world. It includes a high-performance GPS receiver that can acquire and track up to 50 GPS signals down to a state of the art -160dBm, a low-noise 5V CMOS 10MHz and 3.3V CMOS 1PPS output, and a USB control interface. It generates a low-noise 10MHz signal with typically better than 1E-010 precision and accuracy (0.1ppb) on average, better than 250fs jitter rms (20Hz to 2MHz) and a 1PPS signal with typically better than +/-25ns stability when locked to GPS. The LC-XO-Plus kit provides extremely low phase noise and spurs with -100dBc/Hz noise at 10Hz offset, and a noise floor of -155dBc/Hz at 10KHz and above typically. The LC-XO-Plus can achieve ADEV stabilities of better than 8E-012 after 10K seconds averaging and better than 1E-012 (1ppt) over 24 hours.

The unit is built as an easy-to-use small enclosed box that receives power by plugging into the supplied USB power adaptor, into a PC USB port, or into an optional external power supply with a power consumption of less than 0.5W. The unit also provides a TTL level Alarm status output and LED. The unit is supplied with a USB cable and matching wall-wart power supply, two MMCX to BNC adaptor cables, a GPS antenna with 10m length, Z38xx control, plotting and command Windows application, a quick-start guide CD, and is thus ready to go out-of-the-box. The LC-XO-Plus can operate from -10C to +65C, is priced at $568 for a single unit, and is available for immediate delivery.
