The Jackson Twinz & Zero, or "JTZ" as they are known around town, will be appearing live at the Chaoyang hotel's R Lounge Tuesdays, Saturdays 9:30pm, LATE from 24th June until further notice.
Heralding from a family blessed with the gift of song -- father, twin sisters and grandmother -- all vocally talented. Preach and his twin brother Danger hail from Atlanta, Georgia -- when they met guitarist Zero from St Louis on tour in the USA, they just knew it was a match made in heaven.
Influenced by their family's passion and grounded by their hometown roots in gospel music, the charismatic trio describes their sound as funk and soul -- gaining inspiration from the "King of Pop" Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and for Zero -- it has to be guitar legend Jimi Hendrix.
"Music is not what we chose to do, it chose us -- it was a calling. When we are on stage we just feel the music, it's instinctive. I could not imagine doing anything else with my life. It just feels so natural to be up on the stage -- it is where I feel at home, doing what we absolutely love," said JTZ.
