Jacksonville Veterinarian Debuts New Website for Animal Clinic

JACKSONVILLE, TX--(Marketwire - Jul 19, 2011) - Jacksonville, TX area veterinary and animal clinic, Animal Medical Center, has announced the official debut of a new website for their practice, located online at The website is planned as a support mechanism for the animal clinic and pet boarding facility and hosts a range of interactive and informative features for pet owners. Jacksonville pet owners use the Animal Medical Center for a variety of pet care needs, including dog care, cat care, and equine care.

The Animal Medical Clinic opened in 1981. Ira L. Stephens, DVM, has been at the helm of the animal clinic for the ensuing years, providing pet care for animals that includes routine medical care, emergency care, surgery -- such as neutering and spaying -- and equine veterinary services. The veterinary clinic provides referrals for bone surgery, coggins tests, and all standard vet procedures. The Animal Medical Clinic houses a pharmacy on-site as well. While the majority of pet care performed at the Animal Medical Clinic is for small animals like cats and dogs, horses are also cared for at the clinic. The Animal Medical Clinic provides care for local farm owners who need emergency care for their farm animals and livestock.

The website has been designed to make all the services offered at Animal Medical Clinic easy for clients to understand. The section on "We Can Help Your Pet With" lists the reasons and ailments that animals are most commonly brought into the clinic for, and how each of these is treated.

The "Video Newsroom" section of the site is devoted to short video clips that explain various topics about dogs, cats, and other animals. The videos available at the time of the new website's launching include "Care For Senior Pets," "Veterinary Acupuncture," "Avoiding Dog Bites," "People Food For Pets," "Traveling With Pets," and "Pet Proofing Your Home."

The New Patient Center is a new addition to the website that is meant to make the process of completing paperwork, touring the office, and learning about the services performed at the clinic a faster process. Clients who plan to bring pets into the Animal Medical Clinic for the first time have the option of completing the online new patient forms, which will allow all preliminary work to be done by the time the pet is taken into the office for the first visit. Dr. Stephens commented, "We would like the site to provide a good resource for our patients who have questions about pet care between visits. The new site empowers our patients." Dr. Stephens also commented that he was excited about the new blog feature, where pet owners can read about current pet health care topics and ask questions of the veterinarian.

The new website has been specially designed to appeal to the pet owners who are seeking a veterinary office that is available more than the standard office hours. With the services now present on the new website for this Jacksonville veterinarian, pet owners can find answers to questions about vet problems or search for information at any hour.
