Jacob Securities Inc. Appoints Former Morgan Stanley Head of Energy Banking

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - March 21, 2014) - Jacob Securities Inc. ("JSI") today announced the appointment of Don Reid as Vice Chairman of the firm.

Don Reid will be Vice Chairman of JSI focusing on business origination in conventional & renewable energy and other sectors the firm covers. Don has a long and distinguished career in Investment Banking beginning at Dominion Securities in Toronto and London. Don then joined Goldman Sachs in New York, first as a founding member of the Canadian banking team and later as a senior energy banker. From Goldman Sachs, Don was recruited to Morgan Stanley in New York as Global Co-Head of Energy Investment Banking.

Also joining Jacob Securities recently is Tyler Hand as Director of Mergers and Acquisitions. Tyler was previously at TD Securities and National Bank Financial.

Another addition to our Toronto team is Damian Wojcichowsky as Technology Research Analyst. Prior to joining JSI, Damian was a technology analyst at Credit Suisse, RBC Capital Markets and Scotia Capital.

JSI - Private Wealth Management has also added a licensed portfolio manager and noted Socially Responsible Investing (SRI) specialist, Sucheta Rajagopal. Sucheta manages one of the largest books of business in Canada that focuses exclusively on socially responsible investing. She has an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School, and holds a CFP, CIM, and is a fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute.
