Jacobs Confirms Additional Information On Employees
Who Died in Refinery Explosion

PASADENA, Calif.--(CCNMatthews - Mar 26, 2005) -

Jacobs Engineering Group (NYSE:JEC) today confirmed additional
information about the 11 employees of Jacobs and its JE Merit subsidiary
who died in the explosion and fire at the BP Texas City refinery on
March 23.

"We grieve deeply for all who were lost in this terrible tragedy," said
Jacobs President Craig L. Martin. "Our hopes and prayers are for the
speedy and complete recovery of those who were injured. Our hearts go
out to all the families and friends who have been touched by this
incident. We are providing assistance to the families as they deal with
this most difficult time."

Jacobs employees who perished in this tragic incident are:

-- Glenn V. Bolton, age 50, a planner/scheduler with Jacobs Engineering
Group, from College Station, Texas

-- Lorena "Lori" G. Cruz, 32, an instrument fitter helper with JE Merit
Constructors, from La Porte, Texas

-- Morris R. King, 57, a construction manager, with JE Merit, from
Baytown, Texas

-- Arthur G. Ramos, 59, a quality control technician, with Jacobs, from
Houston, Texas

-- Ryan Rodriquez, 28, a craft superintendent with JE Merit, from
Bastrop, Texas

-- James W. Rowe, 48, a civil superintendent with JE Merit, from
Hornbeck, Louisiana

-- Linda M. Rowe, 47, a tool room assistant with JE Merit, from
Hornbeck, Louisiana

-- Kimberly A. Smith, 43, a field administrator with Jacobs, from
Dayton, Texas

-- Susan D. Taylor, 33, a pipe fitter helper with JE Merit, from
Baytown, Texas

-- Larry S. Thomas, 63, a project superintendent with JE Merit, from
Huffman, Texas

-- Eugene White, 53, a safety supervisor with JE Merit, from
Friendswood, Texas
