Jacobs Expands to Appleton, Wisc., in Extension of Support to Kimberly-Clark

PASADENA, Calif.--(CCNMatthews - Oct 12, 2005) -

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced today that the company is opening a new office in Appleton, Wisc., to support its expanding relationship with Kimberly-Clark.

The new Jacobs office is providing engineering design and project activities to Kimberly-Clark's merged Baby Care and Child Care Product & Technology Development units. Jacobs will offer employment to many of the Kimberly-Clark employees affected by Kimberly-Clark's recently announced reorganization.

In commenting on the new Jacobs office, Kimberly-Clark Vice President of Infant Care Product & Technology Development William Abba said, "We appreciate Jacobs' continuing support as we make these strategic changes, and we are pleased that they are offering positions right here in our home community to so many of our employees affected by these changes."

In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Pete Evans stated, "We are excited about this opportunity to expand our relationship with Kimberly-Clark. We have been providing services to them for over 10 years, and our new office opening allows us to further supply them access to high-quality and value-added services in helping them meet their strategic growth objectives."

Jacobs, with over 35,000 employees and revenues exceeding $5.0 billion, provides technical, professional, and construction services globally.
