Jacobs Receives 2005 Lilly Global Supplier Award

PASADENA, Calif.--(CCNMatthews - Sep 20, 2005) -

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced today that it has received a 2005 Lilly Global Supplier Award from Eli Lilly and Company. Lilly Chairman, President, and CEO Sidney Taurel presented the award to Jacobs Chairman and CEO Noel Watson during a ceremony on August 2, 2005, at the Lilly Corporate Center in Indianapolis, Ind.

The award, which is granted annually to about a dozen of Lilly's worldwide vendors, recognizes the contributions those suppliers make in helping Lilly better serve patients that rely on Lilly products as well as the value the vendors help create for Lilly and its shareholders.

In announcing the award, Watson stated, "We are pleased and honored that Lilly has recognized us for the work we've done together. We look forward to continuing to leverage our global network of resources across markets and geographies to deliver timely, innovative solutions that allow Lilly to maintain global leadership in their industry and continue to meet the needs of patients around the world."
