Jacobs Receives Air Force National Air and Space Intelligence Center Contract

FT. WALTON BEACH, Fla.--(CCNMatthews - Sep 13, 2005) -

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced today that a subsidiary company received a contract from the U.S. Air Force National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) to provide threat representation and validation (TRV) services.

The contract, with a ceiling of $30 million, has a 5-year period of performance.

Threat representations replicate hostile situations for software modeling analysis, laboratory testing, training, and range operations. As NASIC's prime TRV contractor, Jacobs is providing scientific and technical assistance in the validation of threat representations of electronic warfare, information warfare, space/counterspace systems, and ballistic missiles.

In making the announcement, Jacobs President Craig Martin stated, "NASIC plays a critical role in supporting the training requirements of the Air Force and protecting our warfighters from the wide variety of threats they encounter. We are pleased to continue our long relationship with this valued client as they expand their mission to include evaluation of threats to U.S. satellites and satellite systems."

Jacobs, with over 35,000 employees and revenues exceeding $5.0 billion, provides technical, professional, and construction services globally.
