Jacobs Receives Diesel S.p.A. Contract

PASADENA, Calif.--(CCNMatthews - Jul 19, 2005) -

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced today that a subsidiary company has signed an engineering contract with Diesel, the world-renowned fashion company. The project is related to the design and construction of the company's new headquarters in Breganze (Vicenza, Italy).

Officials did not disclose the investment value or the contract value.

The idea is to create a "Diesel Village," an area of approximately 90,000 square meters that will house the main offices, showrooms, an auditorium, fitness and sports facilities, an internal restaurant and cafeteria, bars, a warehouse, and underground and external parking for visitors.

In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Andy Kremer stated, "We are pleased and proud to continue our partnership with Diesel S.p.A on this major investment and we are delighted to support and work with their technical staff at their new headquarters."

Jacobs, with over 35,000 employees and revenues exceeding $5.0 billion, provides technical, professional, and construction services globally.
