Jacobs Receives Hospital Construction Project in
Marseille, France

PASADENA, Calif.--(CCNMatthews - Mar 29, 2005) -

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced today that a
subsidiary company has been selected by Assistance Publique - Hopitaux
de Marseille to team with the architect AART Farah for the renovation
and expansion of La Timone hospital in Marseille, France.

Officials estimate the total installed cost of the project to be $306
million. They did not disclose the contract value.

Jacobs is providing engineering, procurement, and construction
management services for the new technical-medical building (including
the emergency department and the radiology, surgical, and intensive care
units) and the care center for parents and children (including
pediatrics and obstetrics). With the addition of these new buildings
measuring 110,000 square meters, the entire hospital complex will cover
a total surface area of 300,000 square meters.

In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Andy Kremer
stated, "We are very proud to continue our work in the French healthcare
sector. Our selection for this important project reinforces our position
within this field not only in France but throughout Europe."
