Jaguar Announces Closing of Private Placement Financing

Jaguar Resources Inc. ("Jaguar" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:JRI) is pleased to announce that is has closed a non-brokered private placement of 300,000 units of the Company ("Units") at a price of $0.10 per Unit for aggregate gross proceeds of $30,000 (the "Private Placement").

Each Unit is comprised of one common share in the capital of Jaguar ("Common Share") and one Common Share purchase warrant ("Warrant"). Each Warrant will be exercisable for one Common Share at a price of $0.05 per share for a period of 60 months from the date of closing of the offering.

Net proceeds from the Private Placement will be used for general corporate purposes including general and administrative expenses.

The securities issued pursuant to the Private Placement will be subject to a four month hold period from the closing date. Following closing of the first tranche of the Private Placement, the Corporation will have 73,514,454 Common Shares issued and outstanding. The Private Placement is subject to the submission of final documentation and final approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
