Janet Moyer Landscaping Announces Schedule of Spring Garden Tours for 2012

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - Apr 2, 2012) - Janet Moyer Landscaping (JML), a full service landscaping company in San Francisco devoted to addressing the unique constraints and challenges of urban gardens, will be featured in two of the city's most prominent garden tours this spring 2012.

On Saturday, May 12 from 10 am to 2 pm, the San Francisco Botanical Garden Society will feature a tour spotlighting "City Gardens Ready for Dry Weather Spell." It will include four gardens designed by Janet Moyer, founder and president of JML, who creates gardens that receive high marks for their beauty and low maintenance appeal. With the focus on sustainability and attentive water management, each garden displays a lush collection of native and non-native plants that thrive with smart irrigation controllers set to maximize low water usage. Moyer has designed and installed more than 475 unique and customized gardens throughout San Francisco's varied terrain. All gardens in this tour are located in Westside City neighborhoods: Forest Hill, St. Francis Wood and Ingleside Terraces. Cost of the tour is $50 for members and $65 for non-members. On Saturday, May 19 from 10 am to 4 pm, the Noe Valley Garden Tour will feature nine gardens including a residential landscape designed by Janet Moyer, founder and president of JML. The tour is open to the public with the purchase of tickets ($18 for general admission; $14 for seniors 65+) that go on sale on Saturday, April 28 at local merchants and the Noe Valley Farmers Market on Saturday mornings. Proceeds will go towards Noe Valley beautification.
