JANUS Displays Takes Digital Signage to New Heights With Boarding Pass Feature

ST. PETERSBURG, FL--(Marketwire - February 8, 2011) -  JANUS Displays announced today the addition of a boarding pass feature to their interactive touch screens. The new feature allows guests the opportunity to learn the most up-to-date travel information, via an interactive display, from the convenience of the hotel lobby, business center, or conference area.

The JANUS Concierge Board provides guests with information on a variety of items such as upcoming events, local restaurant listings and national weather forecasts. The boarding pass feature is the latest application added to the Concierge Board. Honoring their commitment to continuous development, JANUS plans to continue releasing several more features for the Concierge Board. 

The boarding pass feature allows guests access to flight check-in and boarding pass printing at the touch of a fingertip. Furthermore, the display enables visitors to view the status of their flight, including delays and/or cancellations, by providing the flight arrival and departure information.

The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliant process creates a system that is not only easy to use, but one that protects personal information by preventing the capture and/or storage of any incoming data. The PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) strictly enforces the protection of credit card information over a secure site.
