Jason Longden Joins Vibrant Health Products as Chief Operating Officer

ABBOTSFORD, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Jan. 13, 2016) - Stan Smith, president of Vibrant Health Products - the parent company behind Canadian sprouted bread leader Silver Hills Bakery - is pleased to announce that Jason Longden will be joining the company as Chief Operating Officer, effective February 1, 2016.

Longden has more than 26 years of combined leadership and operational experience in the bakery sector, including long-term positions with Pineridge Bakery and Maple Leaf Foods. Most recently, he was COO of sustainable protein brand Gardein, where he led the organization through significant improvements in process, growth and transformation. He will spearhead Vibrant Health Products' business goals to further increase market share in the highly competitive specialty foods market that focuses on vegan, non-GMO products.
