Jason Mraz Goes "In Search Of Incredible" to Launch the ASUS New N Series Notebook; Global Campaign Heralds Remarkable Collaboration Between ASUS and the Intel Corporation; Grammy-Winning Troubadour Celebrates Campaign With New Song, "The World As I See It," Available Online Today; Mraz Among the Judges for Worldwide Multimedia Competition, While Also Starring in Series of Extraordinary Webisodes Documenting His Own Quest for Incredible

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Sep 20, 2011) - Atlantic recording artist Jason Mraz has teamed with Intel and ASUS for "In Search Of Incredible," a global campaign celebrating the launch of the ASUS new N Series notebook, a collaboration between ASUS and the Intel Corporation. With audio capabilities developed in collaboration with Bang & Olufsen ICEpower®, one of the world's leading audio-visual brands, and a 2nd generation Intel ® Core™ processor, the ASUS new N Series offers users a truly incredible multimedia experience.

Mraz has revealed an extraordinary new song, titled "The World As I See It," which will be the theme of the "In Search of Incredible" campaign. The track is streaming now at the Grammy Award-winning superstar's own http://jasonmraz.com/ and is available for purchase at all DSPs beginning today (on iTunes at http://bit.ly/rt8O2G).

What's more, Mraz has joined forces with Intel and ASUS to create a unique global competition, calling on entrants from 16 countries to submit their ideas of "The Incredible." Participants are being asked to upload a description of what they find incredible along with any supporting imagery or multimedia content. The incredible prize for the global winner will be the chance to turn their incredible story into a short film with a professional film crew at their disposal. The film will then serve as the final installment in the "Search for Incredible" online film series. Finally, the winner and a guest will attend one of the world's leading film festivals in Park City, Utah in January 2012, where the film will be screened at an exclusive on-site event, with a special appearance by Mraz. Mraz will also take a significant role in reviewing and selecting the winner of the series from the 16 market finalists. For complete rules and additional information regarding the competition, please visit www.insearchofincredible.com.

As if that weren't enough, Mraz's own quest for incredible will be captured in a series of webisodes to be featured on both www.insearchofincredible.com as well the campaign's YouTube channel, http://www.youtube.com/user/searchofincredible. Directed by BAFTA Award-winning filmmaker, Asif Kapadia (The Warrior, Senna), the webisodes will see Jason sharing his own vision of the incredible as he travels the world from Mulholland Drive to Morocco. This will include a visit to the Integratron in California's Mojave Desert, a domed structure built in the 1950s and funded by Howard Hughes that is believed to offer the perfect acoustics for sound. Another of the webisodes will feature Mraz and longtime friend Jesse Billauer as they both enjoy the surf in Morocco. In 1996, Billauer suffered a debilitating accident rendering him a quadriplegic but he remains an active surfer as well as a role model for disabled athletes determined to live life to its fullest. He founded Life Rolls On, a subsidiary of the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation, which is dedicated to improving the quality of life for young people affected by spinal cord injury and utilizes action sports as a platform to inspire infinite possibilities despite paralysis.

The ASUS new N Series features an audio system engineered by ASUS SonicMaster Technology and co-developed with Bang & Olufsen ICEpower® to create room-filling sound. The integrated video system allows users to watch high-quality video, while users can create their own images with a built-in HD camera, which features low-level light performance.

"Whether your version of incredible music includes thumping bass or a complex concerto, the high-performance spec of the ASUS new N Series will allow you to enjoy a media experience that is both sleek and portable," said Silvia Yu, Global Marketing Director at ASUS. "Its best-in-class sound and sharp picture quality have never been available before on a notebook and we believe the notebook will take users' audio and video experiences to new heights."

Hailed as one of the modern era's most gifted pop troubadours, Jason Mraz is a multi-talented singer/songwriter who made pop history with the sensational single, "I'm Yours." The track was a momentous #1 smash, earning ASCAP's 2010 "Song of the Year" award while also setting the record for the longest-running song in the 51-year history of Billboard's "Hot 100." The San Diego-based tunesmith's global blockbuster album, "WE SING. WE DANCE. WE STEAL THINGS.," which featured the track, garnered six Grammy nominations with two major wins for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for "Make It Mine" and Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals for "Lucky," his duo with Colbie Caillat.

Mraz is currently traveling the planet as part of a wide-reaching tour alongside his longtime friend and collaborator, percussionist Noel "Toca" Rivera. More than just a concert tour, the worldwide journey is a celebration of music's lasting power to inspire change and help others through global citizenship. The trek sees Jason and Toca traveling the planet, immersing themselves in local culture, seeking unique performance spaces and treasured surf spots. The duo's extraordinary expedition recently got underway in Morocco, with upcoming dates scheduled for North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand, where they will play iconic venues including Carnegie Hall and the Sydney Opera House.
