Jay Hollingsworth Joins Energistics as Its Chief Technology Officer


HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwired - Jul 1, 2013) - Energistics, the upstream oil and gas open standards consortium, is pleased to announce that Jay Hollingsworth has joined Energistics as its Chief Technology Officer. In addition to bringing more than twenty years of upstream oil and gas industry experience to the position, Mr. Hollingsworth is also a recognized authority on the design and deployment of master data management solutions for petrotechnical and mapping data.

Mr. Hollingsworth's expertise includes a wide range of data architecture and database engineering technologies as well as thorough knowledge of geosciences and engineering. He most recently served as Industry Principal for Oracle's Oil and Gas Business Unit. Prior to Oracle, Mr. Hollingsworth held technical management positions with Schlumberger, Landmark and Mobil Oil.
