JDSU Announces PacketPortal(TM) CONNECT

MILPITAS, CA--(Marketwire - Oct 16, 2012) - JDSU (NASDAQ: JDSU) (TSX: JDU) today announced the introduction of PacketPortal CONNECT, a global partner program for channel partners, system integrators, and application developers that provides a community to expand PacketPortal applications used by service providers, enterprise customers and network equipment manufacturers. PacketPortal uniquely captures network intelligence from previously inaccessible edge devices such as mobile base stations, switches and routers, and remote enterprise office equipment.

PacketPortal CONNECT links together best of breed partners across the communications industry in an ecosystem focused on delivering superior applications, unmatched domain and solution expertise, and ongoing sales and marketing support.
