- The JDSU TrueSpeed Automated TCP Test solution allows field technicians who install and troubleshoot Ethernet/IP services to run traditional installation tests as well as a quick transmission control protocol (TCP) test during the same truck roll in less than five minutes. Using TrueSpeed, finger-pointing scenarios can be solved when end customers complain of poor throughput, but Layer 2/3 tests are passing. One service provider estimated the savings could exceed 20 percent of operating expenditures based on truck rolls that could be eliminated.
