GenComm's solutions are currently distributed by JDSU under an OEM relationship and are used by tier one service providers, wireless network manufacturers and contractors around the world to quickly provision wireless services that help them create new revenue streams and improve wireless service for millions of users worldwide. Revenue from GenComm products was more than $7.5 million of JDSU's Communications Test and Measurement business segment revenue in fiscal year 2012.
In addition to acquiring its portfolio of portable test and measurement solutions for the troubleshooting, installation and maintenance of wireless base stations and repeaters, the company also brings a talented engineering team to JDSU.

The addressable market for test and measurement solutions served by GenComm products, including those currently distributed by JDSU, is an estimated $175 million. According to some industry analysts, the number of connected devices accessing networks could grow to 50 billion by 2020.
