Jedox Appoints New Vice President Global Sales and Marketing

FREIBURG, GERMANY--(Marketwire - February 18, 2009) - Jedox, which develops and sells planning, analysis and reporting solutions based on commercial Open Source, announced the appointment of Markus Roithmeier as Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing to lead the worldwide sales and marketing activities for the company.

Markus Roithmeier, who holds a degree in Business Administration, has worked in the software industry in sales and marketing management for over 15 years. As the former CEO and member of the management team of Qlik Tech, he brings to Jedox an extensive background in the BI field. While at Qlik Tech, Mr. Roithmeier was responsible for the Central European market and the international SAP Competency Center, and made significant contributions to the company's growth and success. Prior to Qlik Tech, Markus Roithmeier gained experience in building and developing international sales organizations while working as a Senior Consultant for the UK-based PA Consulting Group.

Under the new leadership of Mr. Roithmeier, Jedox strives to further expand its business in the D-A-CH (Germany - Austria - Switzerland) region, but also focus globally on the expansion of its organisations in France and the UK, as well as its international partner network.
