Jeffrey Arsenych Joins Tusk Board of Directors

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 25, 2005) - TUSK Energy Corporation (TSX:TSK) ("TUSK") is pleased to announce that Jeffrey W.C. Arsenych has been appointed as a director.

Mr. Arsenych has been a director of TKE Energy Trust (TSX:TKE.UN) since its formation in November, 2004. TKE recently announced that it had entered in to an agreement to combine with True Energy Inc. and continue as True Energy Trust. Upon the closing of that transaction, Mr. Arsenych will retire from the board of TKE.

Mr. Arsenych is currently Chairman & Director of Ravenwood Energy Corp., a private oil and gas exploration and production company; The Energreen Foundation, a renewable energy charity; Verde Energy Ltd., a private co-generation company; and, Kyoto Fuels Corp., a private bio-diesel company. He was formerly Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Ravenwood Resources Inc. and President & Chief Executive Officer of Neutrino Resources Inc.

TUSK is an exploration company focused on exploration for and development of natural gas and oil reserves in the northwest part of the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin, primarily in the Peace River Arch and Mega/Venus areas of northwest Alberta.
