In addition to acting as Insomniac's spokesperson, Forkish will oversee all aspects of Insomniac's communications strategy and policies including media relations, crisis communications and social media as well as act as Insomniac's chief in-house advisor and lobbyist on political matters.

"Jennifer's experience working with us over the last three years has already given her an in-depth understanding of our brands, our operations and our focus on enhancing the fan experience," said Pasquale Rotella, Insomniac founder and CEO. "As Insomniac continues to grow, we are always looking for talented people with diverse skill sets. Jennifer's strong background in media relations, crisis communications and knowledge of the political process make her a valuable asset to our leadership team."

Forkish previously worked as vice president at Englander Knabe & Allen, a prestigious Downtown Los Angeles communications and public affairs firm where she worked closely with Insomniac and Rotella over the last three years.

Prior to Forkish's work with Insomniac, she served as a political advisor and spokesperson for various National and California based trade associations, including the California Grocers Association, the American Chemistry Council and Fortune 500 companies. "I'm so fortunate to have the opportunity to work at Insomniac where I have the chance to engage with some of the most creative minds in the music and event production industries," said Forkish. "Being a part of the team at Insomniac allows me the chance to implement creative communications strategies as well as represent the company on any challenging public affairs issues that we may face. Working with Insomniac means that I have the opportunity to be a part of a team that produces some of the largest and most innovative music festivals in the world. I can't think of a more exciting, fast-paced and truly cutting edge environment to work in."

Forkish received a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Arizona in 2001. She brings more than 10 years of media relations and communications experience and an extensive knowledge of government operations.
