Jennifer Lopez Comforted by Pink Kisses in Wake of Separation Announcement

AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwire - Jul 21, 2011) - Megawatt celebrity Jennifer Lopez received a special series of flowers, chocolates and encouraging notes this week to help her through the aftermath of her separation announcement, heartbreak recovery website Pink Kisses announced today. A bouquet of long-stemmed purple orchids called "The Veronica" arrived at her agent's office this week, as well as a signature collection of "I Will Survive" dark chocolates with a hot pink note of encouragement from the site's founder tucked inside.

Former NBC reporter Ellie Scarborough launched Pink Kisses in July 2010 to help women bounce back from breakups and emerge stronger, wiser and happier on the other side. She created the site when, after going through a split of her own, she was unable to find useful resources online to help her through it. She left her television news job and founded the online community to provide an intelligent online space where women of all ages could access no-nonsense tips, tools, advice and encouragement. Her goal, she says, is to help women transform a low point into a turning point, "forgetting their exes and finding their inner bombshells."

"Jennifer is really the embodiment of a bombshell -- completely in control of her life, determined to chase her dreams, and unapologetic about her femininity," Scarborough said. "She's bounced back from public breakups in the past and held her head high; we absolutely support and encourage resilience like hers. This week, we wanted to send her some love and remind her there's a nation of girls out there who have been through it too and totally support her."

Pink Kisses is a smart, interactive community reminding women going through breakups and divorces that they're not alone. It offers unique tools and tips to help girls get real, get over it and reinvent themselves, from a 90-day "Betty Plan" with daily action steps emailed to keep a girl's focus on herself and her future, to wardrobe stylist services, daily text messages, flowers, chocolates and an advice blog. A portion of its proceeds is donated to breast cancer charities in memory of Scarborough's aunt.

In addition to Lopez, stars Eva Longoria, Mila Kunis, Scarlett Johansson and Vanessa Hudgens have also received goodies from Pink Kisses. For details on the post-breakup pick-me-ups they've enjoyed, visit
