Jeremy Starks Wins Bassmaster Elite Series Challenge Using Element 21's Carrot Stix Fishing Rods

TORONTO--(Marketwire - June 11, 2008) - Element 21 Golf Company (OTCBB: ETGF) (FRANKFURT: BJQ), the leading manufacturer of advanced Scandium Alloy golf and fishing equipment, announced today that Jeremy Starks won the Bassmaster Elite Series Southern Challenge presented by Advance Auto Parts using the Company's Carrot Stix Fishing Rods.

Starks, a third-year pro from Charleston, W. Virginia, had a four-day total of 78 pounds 10 ounces beating legendary bass fisherman Kevin VanDam. Previously, Starks was in 96th place in the Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Angler of the Year points standing. His previous best finish ever in a BASS event was ninth place.
