Jiffy Lube Los Angeles Hispanic Account Awarded to The AdMark Group

PASADENA, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- November 8, 2005 -- The Los Angeles-area advertising co-operative of Jiffy Lube franchise holders concluded its three-month agency review by selecting The AdMark Group of Pasadena to spearhead its Hispanic marketing efforts. The independent shop is charged with developing a comprehensive marketing and advertising campaign for Hispanic consumers beginning in January 2006. This marks the first time the local ad co-op has specifically targeted the Hispanic market.

"Jiffy Lube is committed to providing the highest level of service to its Los Angeles-area customers. Through our Spanish-language outreach efforts, we will take our customer service to the next level," stated Rob Curry, Treasurer of the Jiffy Lube Los Angeles co-op and owner of 12 local Jiffy Lube franchises. "The AdMark Group impressed us with their knowledge of the market, and their expertise and success with retail accounts, and we're glad to have them on our team."

Another independent shop, Ideaology of Marina del Rey, was awarded the general market account. Ideaology won out over incumbent Kovell/Fuller, as well as O'Leary & Partners, The Phelps Group, DGWB Advertising and VitroRobertson; Hispanic shops vying for the business included Anita Santiago Advertising, Castells & Asociados, and the Gallegos Group.

The Los Angeles ad co-op is comprised of 120 Jiffy Lube franchises throughout the Los Angeles area. The group spent over $4 million in advertising in 2005, in addition to the national Jiffy Lube advertising budget of $16 million.

The AdMark Group was also selected to partner with Jiffy Lube's national advertising agency, MMB of Boston, in the creative development of corporate Spanish-language radio and TV commercials for 2006.

"We're pleased that Jiffy Lube recognizes the huge potential of the Hispanic market to help grow their business both in Los Angeles and on a national level," noted AdMark President Adriana Blanco. "We're also excited for the opportunity to be a part of that success."
