Joel Sutherland to Keynote CSCMP Innovation Breakfast April 24th

Jawbone, Sandisk, Levi-Strauss Executives to Share Best Practices

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Apr 1, 2014) - The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) San Francisco Roundtable is proud to announce that Joel Sutherland, Managing Director of the Supply Chain Management Institute of San Diego University (SDU), will provide the breakfast keynote for its 2nd Annual Innovation Breakfast on April 24, 2014.

Joel is a past Board Chair of the global CSCMP organization and in 2009 received their highest honor -- the Distinguished Service Award. He's been recognized as one of the Top 20 Logistics Executives by CLO magazine and honored as a Thought Leader by Supply Chain Quarterly and DC Velocity magazines. His career includes leadership of logistics and supply chain management in corporations from Toyota's largest supplier, Denso, to International Paper and ConAgra. He launched a 3PL for CSX/SeaLand Services and for JB Hunt, helped create the non-asset based transportation 3PL that would later become Transplace. He gained significant global recognition while leading the Center for Value Chain Research before taking the healm of USD's SCM Institute. He will speak on the topic of, "Creating a Superior Supply Chain Through Innovation."
