RACINE, WI -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 23, 2006 -- Pacific Sands, Inc. (OTC BB: PFSD) is very pleased to welcome Joe (JT) Ploch back as the investor / public relations contact for the company.

Mr. Ploch served as the company IR contact from 2003 to mid 2005 when he stepped down in order to dedicate his full attention as a market strategist for his Internet stock market timing and strategy site,

JT was the only Pacific Sands staff member to be retained when the current management team took over the company in June of 2004. At the time of the transition, the company's stock was trading at a low of .02 per share and rose to an intra-day high of .30 a share in early 2005 during JT's tenure.
