John Ambrose Joins Advanced Practice Strategies' Board of Directors

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwired - December 04, 2014) - Advanced Practice Strategies (APS) today announced that John Ambrose has joined the organization as an independent director on its Board. John is currently Senior Vice President, Strategy and Corporate Development at Skillsoft, a leading provider of enterprise learning and talent solutions.

"John Ambrose is a corporate learning veteran who has founded, led, and sold companies in the technology space," says Russ Richmond, MD, CEO of APS. "John brings expertise in e-learning, SaaS growth, and acquisitions to the APS board, and all three of those functions will be critical to the future of our company."

Prior to his current role at Skillsoft, John has held a number of prominent roles in learning and technology, including co-founder of Books24x7, the CEO of NASDAQ-listed DeltaPoint, and Vice President of Corporate Marketing for SystemSoft.

"In my current role at Skillsoft I interact with many companies that are innovators in e-learning," says Ambrose. "But APS is truly unique, and potentially disruptive. Because the APS platform uses its content to generate proprietary end-user data, APS can drive both personalized learning and amazing insight for its health sciences customers. I look forward to working with APS to scale the company across the healthcare domain."
