John Bryson & Mac Heller Join Miles Electric Vehicles' Board of Directors

Major Electric Utility and Investment Banking Executives Back Electric Vehicle Maker

SANTA MONICA, CA--(Marketwire - November 10, 2008) - Miles Electric Vehicles, a California-based all electric vehicle manufacturer, announced today the addition of John E. Bryson and Steven "Mac" Heller to its Board of Directors. Bryson and Heller bring extensive utility industry and investment banking experience to the Board and have each made significant investments to further progress MILES EV's vision of bringing safe, practical and economical all electric vehicles to the public.

Bryson, a graduate of Stanford University and Yale Law School, earned a reputation during his 20-year career at Edison International for being one of the nation's leaders in the development and use of renewable energy sources. Bryson began his career at Edison International in 1984, was named CEO in 1990, and also held the positions of chairman and president until he retired in July of 2008. Prior to joining Edison International, Bryson co-founded both the Natural Resources Defense Council and the Pacific Council on International Policy. Today he serves as a director for a number of prominent companies which include The Boeing Company, The Walt Disney Company, W.M. Keck Foundation, and California Endowment.

Heller joins the Board with over 20 years of investment banking experience. He began his career at Goldman Sachs in 1982 and advanced through the executive ranks to become the head of global mergers and acquisitions business in 1996. In 1999, Heller was also named co-head of Goldman Sachs' investment banking division where he played a lead role in numerous M&A and financing transactions until his retirement in 2002. Heller is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School.
