John C. McCord Rejoins Fellon-McCord as Chairman

Company Co-Founder to Work on Strategic Development Issues; Andrew Fellon to Continue as CEO

LOUISVILLE, KY--(Marketwire - November 14, 2008) - Energy consulting and management company Fellon-McCord & Associates today announced that John C. McCord, co-founder and semi-retired chairman of Fellon-McCord, has retaken an active role in the company. In reassuming the title of board chairman, McCord will devote the majority of his efforts to helping the company grow through a combination of organic expansion and careful, opportunistic corporate acquisition.

McCord co-founded Fellon-McCord in 1992 with partner and current CEO Andrew (Drew) Fellon, and was instrumental in making the company one of the nation's first energy consultancies. The firm focuses exclusively on helping commercial and industrial businesses better manage their energy spend through efficient purchasing practices and by creating sustainable programs that reduce consumption and costs.

Earlier this year Fellon-McCord completed its buyback from Constellation Energy, which originally purchased the firm in 2003. As an independent entity, Fellon-McCord currently manages $7 billion in energy procurement for clients located in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Europe.

"Having John McCord involved again in the strategic development of Fellon-McCord is a major benefit for our company, our clients and our employees. His knowledge of the energy industry, reputation and business skills will be of immense help in navigating the historic changes that are impacting the global energy industries," said Fellon.

"Working along side my longtime colleague, Drew Fellon, and Fellon-McCord's employees, I look forward to building our firm's capacity to operate at the highest levels of our industry," stated McCord. "This is a time of unprecedented shifts in the global economy in general, as well as in U.S. energy policy, energy consumption patterns, industry alliances and international trade. I'm pleased that I can bring my skills to bear for the benefit of our firm and valued clients."

John McCord has over three decades of energy industry experience. Prior to co-founding Fellon-McCord in 1992, McCord was director of product development for Centran Corporation. Beginning in the late 1970s, McCord was an owner and officer of the Buddeke Coal Company.

A graduate of the University of Vermont and the University of Louisville-School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree, McCord began his career as an attorney in Louisville, KY.

McCord currently serves as a board member of several for profit and non-profit organizations.
