John Gerzema Named President of BrandAsset® Consulting

Will Partner With CEO Ed Lebar to Create Next Generation of BrandAsset® Valuator

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - October 20, 2010) -  Peter Stringham, CEO of Young & Rubicam Brands, announced today that he has appointed John Gerzema President of BrandAsset® Consulting, the Young & Rubicam Brands company that is responsible for BrandAsset® Valuator, the world's largest global brand database and management tool. This move is timed with the launch of Gerzema's newest book, Spend Shift, largely based on the massive data that makes up BrandAsset Valuator®.

Gerzema will join BrandAsset Consulting's CEO Ed Lebar in building BrandAsset® Consulting's growing consultancy practice. Together, they will shape the next generation of BrandAsset® Valuator, building new tools and products for emerging growth areas in new media and consumer insights. They will also expand BrandAsset Valuator's reach into new markets and disciplines, including sales management and shopper marketing.
