One-Day Summit Focusing on Marketing to the New Entertainment Consumer Features Top Entertainment Marketing Execs, Including NBC's Chief Marketing Officer

BEVERLY HILLS, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- June 8, 2005 -- iMedia Communications, Inc. and Variety, the leading industry publication for entertainment business news, have teamed up to present a one-day Summit: "Integrate '05: Marketing to the New Entertainment Consumer," taking place June 29, 2005, at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. The newest addition to the dynamic lineup is John Miller, Chief Marketing Officer of NBC Universal Television Group. His talk, entitled "New Media, New Strategies and New Expectations," will focus on how he built viewer awareness for NBC and strengthened the network's brand identity.

Emmy winner and PROMAX Hall of Fame member, John Miller, the longtime head of advertising and promotion for NBC and co-president of The NBC Agency, was named Chief Marketing Officer for the NBC Universal Television Group in May 2004. Miller has oversight for all marketing initiatives and cross-promotional opportunities for NBC Universal Television Studios, NBC Universal Television Distribution, NBC Entertainment, NBC News, NBC Sports, Telemundo, Bravo, USA Network, SCI FI, Trio, MSNBC, CNBC and Universal Studios Networks. Further, he co-chairs the marketing council for the full company, NBC Universal, with Universal Pictures Vice Chairman Marc Shmuger.

Prior to his position as Chief Marketing Officer of NBC Universal Television Group, Miller was president of the NBC Agency since November 1999. In that position, he and his longtime partner and co-president, Vince Manze, oversaw the television industry's first full-service advertising agency -- an award-winning in-house unit that quickly established itself as one of the country's top creative commercial firms.

Integrate '05 will also feature the "Integrated Entertainment Marketing Awards," recognizing the marketing executive and the entertainment campaign that have most effectively integrated multiple communication platforms to deliver a message.

Integrate '05 gives attendees actionable insights into the exciting new challenges of marketing to entertainment consumers. Panels featuring top media agency executives will discuss the changing media environment and recommendations for their entertainment clients. Attendees will also hear from top film studio marketing executives, including Dawn Taubin, President of Domestic Marketing at Warner Bros. Pictures, and Adam Fogelson, President of Marketing at Universal Pictures, who will offer their best marketing practices to drive movie ticket sales and DVD purchases. In addition, television network marketing heads will discuss how they are increasing tune-in business.

This conference has been developed to bring together executive level marketers from major entertainment companies. The summit will feature prominent speakers and dynamic panels on a variety of topics relative to the consumerism entertainment industry. Presentations will include research on changing entertainment consumption habits both online and offline and a guided tour on how the marketing mix has changed in the last year and how it will continue to change in the future. Additionally, iMedia and Variety will provide case studies on the best-integrated entertainment marketing strategies for movies, television and home entertainment.
