John Theron Joins Incuity Software as Chief Product Officer and Vice President, Product Management

MISSION VIEJO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- August 23, 2006 -- Incuity Software, Inc., a leading developer of business intelligence (BI) software for manufacturing enterprises, today announced that John Theron has joined the company as Chief Product Officer and Vice President of Product Management.

In the new post, Theron is responsible for product management and product marketing, and coordinates all product-related activities from requirements definition through development and QA to product positioning and release. He reports directly to Doug Lawson, Incuity Chief Executive Officer.

"We are fortunate to have John come aboard in this critical product area because he has more than 20 years experience in manufacturing and enterprise software and knows our market space in great depth," Lawson said. "He has great expertise in development and application of business intelligence solutions for manufacturing, which is our sweet spot."

Theron worked with the original Incuity team as joint CEO of Ptm, the South Africa-based company acquired by Wonderware Corporation in 1995. This team developed the technology for Wonderware's IndustrialSQL Server™ real-time relational database, and Theron subsequently headed product marketing at Wonderware.

Theron has also served as Vice President of Product Management at XPrime, a company in the business intelligence market; as Director of Product Management for Quest Software's enterprise database solutions; and as CEO of Blue Owl Technologies, an energy management software company.

Theron received a BS degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa.
