Johnstech International Hires Semiconductor Industry Veterans to Lead the Company to the Next Level


MINNEAPOLIS, MN--(Marketwire - Dec 4, 2011) - Today Johnstech International Corporation announced the addition of four new executives to its leadership team. Joining Johnstech in August 2011, Keith Nootbaar is chief operating officer for the company, reporting to David Johnson, president, CEO, and founder of Johnstech. In addition to Mr. Nootbaar, Johnstech has added Bill Thomas as vice president of global sales, Sarosh Patel as director of new product development engineering, and Dan Campion as senior manager of Johnstech's project management office, reporting to Mr. Nootbaar.

Before joining Johnstech International, Mr. Nootbaar was senior director, leading the microelectronics and precision sensors business for Honeywell Defense and Space in Plymouth, Minnesota. He is a seasoned semiconductor industry professional with successful executive experience managing both large and small organizations. Mr. Nootbaar has a BS Electrical Engineering degree from Oklahoma State University. He also has extensive graduate study at University of Minnesota in Electrical Engineering, as well as executive training in Strategic Marketing Management from University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

Mr. Thomas was most recently Executive Vice President of Sensor Platforms in San Jose, California. He is a semiconductor veteran with a BSEE from the University of Florida. Based out of the Johnstech Western Regional Sales & Service Center in Santa Clara, California, Mr. Thomas will be responsible for all Johnstech Sales and Sales Operations.

Mr. Patel comes to Johnstech from International Rectifier where he was Sr. Program Manager responsible for the technology and product transfer of IR's HI-Rel product. Mr. Patel has a BE in Mechanical Engineering from the M.S. University in India, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, and an MBA from the State University of New York in Buffalo. He will be responsible for all Development Engineering at Johnstech's Minneapolis headquarters and will be the primary architect of the design center expansion in Santa Clara.

Mr. Campion brings both strong program management experience and test engineering experience to Johnstech. Mr. Campion was most recently with Honeywell as the Program Management Operating System Leader for Honeywell's Defense and Space International Business Unit. He was responsible for working with senior leadership and program managers to drive excellence in program execution. Mr. Campion has a BSEE and an MBA, both from the University of Minnesota. He will lead development projects from concept to launch and enable Johnstech to rapidly meet industry trends.
