Jon Cornish to share life lessons with university students

The importance of having a mentor, networking and achieving your goals through co-op and internship programs

CALGARY, AB--(Marketwired - March 17, 2015) - He's achieved numerous individual and team goals on the football field, now Jon Cornish of the Calgary Stampeders will share his personal experiences with career goals with University of Calgary students. Kick off Your Career Goals through Co-op & Internship is presented by the faculties of Arts and Sciences and Career Services and will feature the two-time Grey Cup champion as special keynote speaker. In addition to hearing about the importance of mentors and networking from Cornish, students will also have the opportunity to hear from their peers about diverse co-op and internship experiences. The event is part of National Co-op Internship Week.

Prior to the event Jon Cornish, and the Associate Deans from Arts and Science will be available to media to discuss the value Co-op and Internship add to an undergraduate degree.
