Jourdan Confirms Extensive Phosphate Mineralization Continues Beyond Historical Mineralized Zones on New Claims

- Phosphate mineralization from prospecting continues 1000m south-southwest of historical mineralized zone which averages 150m wide at surface

- Phosphate mineralization also identified on recently staked claims, contiguous to the original Dissimieux Lake claim block

- Highest phosphate assays from current sampling is 3.92% P2O5 from the original claims block and 3.83% P2O5 from recently staked claims

JOURDAN RESOURCES INC. (TSX VENTURE:JOR) ("JOURDAN" or the "Company") ( is pleased to announce that it has received the first batch of assay results from prospecting and mapping on its Dissimieux Lake Phosphate Project. More than 100 assay results are still pending at ASL Minerals, of Vancouver, BC, and will be released when they have been received by the company.

Samples results received to date cover approximately 6 km of strike length. These assay grade results are in line with expectation based on historical work on the claims. The extension of mineralization to the south-southwest on the original claim block, as well as to the east on the recently staked block of claims provides additional areas to target by drilling for near surface phosphate mineralization.

The highest assays report 3.92% P2O5 from within the area of historical mineralization in sample J413004. Sample J413023 reports 3.83% P2O5 from what appears to be a parallel mineralized structure to the historical mineralization, approximately 1km east of the historical mineralization. Samples J413031 and J413033 appear to be the extension of the historical mineralization, and are 1km south-southwest of any previous sampling on the property. In another parallel mineralized structure, approximately 700m southeast of samples J413031 and J413033, sample J413029 returned 1.76% P2O5 in what may be the extension of the mineralization identified in sample J413023, or what may be another mineralized zone that lies between the zone historically identified and sample J413023.

Quality assurance / Quality Control ("QA/QC")

Surface grab samples averaging 1 kilogram each were taken by qualified personnel from JOURDAN under the supervision of Jean Lafleur, M.Sc., P. Geo. Samples were bagged, sealed and numbered on-site, and delivered to the ALS Laboratory Group facility in Val-d'Or (Quebec) for analysis using the ME-ICP06 Method. At the laboratory facility, samples were inventoried, weighed and dried; crushed 70% to under 2 millimetres; riffled split with a 250 gram sub-sample pulverized 85% to under 75 microns; then followed by analysis.

The technical information in this news release was approved by Mr. Jean Lafleur, M. Sc. P. Geo, a Consultant to Jourdan Resources, who is a Qualified Person under NI 43-101 regulations.
