Jr. Economic Club Launches 3rd Annual Bay Street Boot Camp

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Aug. 31, 2015) - The Jr. Economic Club of Canada (Jr. EC), with a primary mandate to educate and inspire Canadian youth to become financially literate, celebrates the third annual "Bay Street Boot Camp," a five-day financial literacy course that brings teens into to the heart of the financial district. Students, giving up their last week of summer freedom, hail from across the GTA, Rama First Nation and Wikwemikong, and Iqaluit, Nunavut.

saving plans for the school year ahead.

Molly Burke talks bullying and overcoming challenges
In her early teens Molly lost her vision to retinitis pigmentosa. Tormented by bullies, she suffered from
depression and anxiety. She now speaks to youth across Canada about how she found the strength to face
her challenges, inspiring them to overcome their own.

Pitch Day
Students pitch the businesses they've created to a panel of VIPs. The winning group receives $10,000
in scholarship money.
