Jspace.com to Launch a Jewish Organizations Section

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Dec 12, 2011) - Jspace.com, a new social networking portal, will launch its ".ORG" section today with the participation of close to 80 non-profit Jewish community organizations. The .ORG section of Jspace provides Jewish non-profit organizations with web space to post information, share event photos with their constituents, and accept online donations from Jspace members.

Participating organizations at launch time include the Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA), Birthright Israel Next Colorado, the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies, Masa Israel Journey and many more. To join .ORG, an organization must be geared towards the Jewish community and must be a registered 501(c)(3).

"The community has needed something like this for a long time," said Susie Baumohl, National Program Director for the American Zionist Movement (AZM). ".ORG on Jspace is a place where organizations can house their information, events and photos all in one place, easily accessed by thousands of present and future constituents. We at AZM and ViZion are really looking forward to using Jspace to let people know who we are and what we do."

Meara Razon, Vice President of Community Outreach for Jspace, added: "We are extremely excited to be able to connect people with all of the wonderful organizations that exist in our community. The .ORG section of Jspace, searchable by categories, cities and events, is sure to introduce our members to the wealth of resources available to them in all facets of their Jewish lives."
