Julie Martineau Joins C&W as Vice President


MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Nov. 7, 2014) - Cushman & Wakefield has announced Julie Martineau has joined the firm as Vice President, and will be located in the firm's downtown Montreal office.

Ms. Martineau will focus on office, retail and industrial opportunities. Along with working on multiple asset classes, she will also be working closely with all of our brokers as well as collaborating with the Lloyd Cooper team. Her extensive background in commercial real estate will help leverage C&W's robust integrated platform and provide additional depth to the existing brokerage team. She brings 25 years of commercial real estate expertise in retail, office and industrial markets, bringing an understanding of both landlords and tenants.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Ms. Martineau worked as Vice President Leasing Eastern Region, and Vice President Office Leasing, Québec, at Ivanhoe Cambridge. From 2007 until 2012, Julie was Vice President Leasing, Quebec, for SmartCentres. Prior to joining SmartCentres Julie was Vice President at Société Immobilière Jean E. Martineau Inc. and President and Founder of Martineau Courtier Immobilier Agréé Inc. for 13 years. She led a team of property managers and leasing representatives who succeeded in repositioning properties for clients such as CDPQ, Metropolitan Life and Industrial Alliance. She has also represented major clients such as Provigo, Belair Direct, ING Canada Inc., and Busac.
