Jump Cut Launches Print Division

Names Brandon Schaefer Creative Director

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - October 24, 2014) - Leading independent advertising agency Jump Cut has launched a print division and named Brandon Schaefer Creative Director, it was announced today by Jump Cut CEO Stephen Garrett.

At Jump Cut, Schaefer will oversee all print campaigns, which includes posters, bus shelters, bus wraps, billboards and select social media and online advertising units. Schaefer will also oversee additional hires to do print work.

Schaefer is a graphic designer and former writer for His clients have ranged from IFC Films to The New York Times, and his work has been exhibited internationally and featured in several publications over the years. He has designed home video packaging and key-art for contemporary independent productions to foreign and Hollywood classics, such as Lawrence of Arabia and West Side Story. Schaefer also co-curates Silver Screen Society, a website dedicated to celebrating film through illustration, and beginning in the fall, he will co-host a monthly podcast focused on film art and design.
